1. A)We have received our first shipments of the flu vaccine for the 2011-2012 flu season.
   

B) The flu mist can be given to all children ages 2 years or older who have no history of any

underlying chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes or prolonged use of steroids.

C) Injectable flu can be given to all patients 6 months of age and older. If your child is less than 9 years old and did not receive at least one dose of H1N1 sometime in the last 2 years, he/she will need two (2) doses of this year’s flu vaccine 1 month apart.

D) We are also offering the flu mist to parents without any underlying medical problems, including pregnancy. Payment for this service is $50 and due at the time of service.

E) The AAP recommends all children 6 months or older receive the flu vaccine.
